A visitor to the class

Today Matai and Kahikatea met someone awesome called Zach Rissel.
Zach works at the Wellington city council.  He grew up in California but now lives in Wellington.
Today he told us about how greenhouse gases included carbon dioxide.
Greenhouse gases are sometimes good and sometimes bad for our planet.

In your houses if you have mold you should turn on a fan or open a window because if cold wet air comes in and stays there it will create mold.
He helps people make their houses warmer.
He also told us about the highest usage of electricity in the home. People mostly use it for:
1. Hot water
2.Heating

If you want to save electricity turn down your hot water cylinder , use L.E.D Light bulb (sadly it costs more but it does use less electricity). This has helped us to collect information about how we can save more electricity at school.
